From Shoranur Junction there is a railway line to Nilambur Road (66 km). Six pairs of passenger trains run between Nilambur and Shoranur Jn and the running time is 100 minutes.
Trains leave Shoranur Jn at 7AM, 9:20AM, 12:05PM, 2:40PM, 5:15PM and 7:45PM daily.

Towards Shoranur 6:45AM, 9:10AM, 11:50AM, 5PM
To Ernakulam via Shoranur 2:25PM
To Palakkad via Shoranur 7:30PM
It will be operational by late 2011,probably by September.
Of the 10 new 'Rajya Rani' Expresses announced all over the country,this is the lone one in Kerala.
From Calicut Railway Station you can go to Nilambur (70 km) by taxi. Or you can take an autorickshaw to Moffusil Bus stand from where you will get frequent limited stop/town to town KSRTC and private buses to/via Nilambur from 5AM to 8:40PM.
