Bolivia has 37 official languages -of which Spanish (often called Castellano), Quechua, and Aymara are the main ones. The others are In rural areas, many people do not speak Spanish. Nevertheless, you should be able to get by with some basic Castellano. Bolivia is one of the best places in which to learn or practice your Spanish because of their very clean, deliberate accent.
