Yuzhno-Kurilsk (Russian: Ю́жно-кури́льск, YOOZH-nuh koo-REELSK; Japanese: 古釜布, foo-roo-kah-mah-poo) population: 7.800, is the main town of the Kuril islands, in Sakhalin Oblast, Russia.
