In winter only reachable with the chargeable Gerlosstein Cable Car, Berghotel Gerlosstein is located at 1,650 metres above sea level in the Zillertal Alps and offers direct access to the slopes and hiking trails of the Gerlosstein Ski and Hiking Area. It is just 300 metres from the upper station of the cable car. Guests can relax in an infrared cabin. The newly renovated rooms and suites feature a balcony overlooking the mountains, satellite TV, and a bathroom. The dining room also offers guests a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Please also note that in winter, the hotel can only be reached with the Gerlosstein Cable Car. The fee for the cable car is EUR 9 each person one way. No fee for ski pass holders. Parking is available next to the valley station of the cable car. Operating hours are 08:30 to 16:30. The ticket for the cable car is not included in the rate. Please note that in the summer, a fee of EUR 10 (1 ride uphill and downhill) is necessary to access the road (gravel road, single track, partly asphalted).
