This charming old home, Blue Chang House (which means house of the blue elephant) has recently been acquired by architect owner, Sumet Ruamjai. Blue Chang House is reopening as a combined Guest House, that includes 4 new dormitory rooms and 21 upgraded private double rooms. All dormitories have 4 single beds, each with 3 shared bathrooms. The 21 private rooms range in size and price, and all include bathrooms. The largest private room is a suite with 3 rooms and can sleep up to 3 people. The approval ratings at the Blue Chang, have been consistently very positive and the new owner is determined to do even better. The Guest House will continue to provide excellent service with English speaking staff, who will be able to give you travel suggestions tailored to your interests. A damage deposit of THB 1000 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that non-registered guests are not allowed to stay in the dormitory rooms. The property requires prepayment via bank transfer. Guests will receive a direct email from the property within 48 hours of booking with the bank account detail. To confirm the reservation, payment must be made within 24 hours once email is received.
