The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished, modernized and enlarged. It is located opposite Lausanne's Main Train Station, a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and the shopping area. It offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The non-smoking rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar and a bathroom. A rich buffet breakfast is served every day.
