HI Maligne Canyon - HostelPoised alongside the Maligne River, just above the spectacular depths of Maligne Canyon, this serene hostel is an all-season destination. Travelers will enjoy an array of hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing trails. The nearby Skyline Trail offers one of Jasper National Park's most scenic hikes. This is a wilderness hostel with limited creature comforts - no running water, no showers or washing area, and no flush toilets. We do have purified water for cooking, a refrigerator, propane stoves and electricity for the lights. Please Bring your own bedding (Pillow,sleeping bag,blanket etc)

Please note that HI/YHA discounts are not available to members as part of this booking. Special policies apply for group stays of 10 or more people and different terms and conditions will apply. For the safety and comfort of all guests, children 12 and under are accommodated in private rooms only. Children aged 13 to 17 who stay in shared dorm rooms must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Please contact the hostel directly for exemptions to the hostel age policy. This is a back-to-basics wilderness hostel - with no showers and no flush toilets. Like all the wilderness hostels, the emphasis here is on experiencing the Rockies on their own terms. Please note that due to the nature of our operations and in accordance with local public health guidance, this hostel requires proof of vaccination for all guests aged 12 and over as of September 20, 2021. Guests will also have the option of presenting a negative COVID-19 test result completed within 72 hours prior to check-in.
