his beautiful and traditional hotel provides the ideal setting for a peaceful relaxing stay in the coastal town of Praestoe. The restaurant associated with the hotel was recently awarded a star in the Michelin Nordic Guide 2016. From the restaurant there is a stunning view towards Praestoe fjord. During the summer various hot and cold dishes are served at the terrace. It is important to book a table in the restaurant prior to arrival as we otherwise cannot guarantee availability. Hotel Frederiksminde was awarded the annual ``live and dine'' award by the Danish Guide for Fine Dining (Den danske spiseguide) 2015. The hotel has 19 beautiful, well-lit rooms - each of which has its own unique interior design. The rooms of Frederiksminde have been furnished with antiques and beautiful paintings. Some of the rooms have a view towards Praestoe fjord, others a small balcony. Guests can relax in the spacious garden or go for a swim at the beach not 200 m from the hotel.Facilities & Services

You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas. If you expect to arrive after 18:00, please inform Hotel Frederiksminde in advance. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays until 30 March 2021. Table reservations are advised.
