Grand Isle is very unique and well worth seeing.
Grand Isle is very unique and well worth seeing. But there is not a lot to do apart from the beach if the weather is good or if you go fishing. Hardly any restaurants and only one diner has consistant opening hours. Sunday evening and Monday no choice at all. No coffee shops.

I liked the location of the inn because it was right next the beach. I was unhappy that Grand Isle State Park was closed. It wasn't the parks fault that it was closed. I believe that they were still repairing damage from Hurricane Ina.

The people are friendly, courteous and helpful.
The people are friendly, courteous and helpful. I keep coming back and bringing my family, who love the beaches. During this trip we enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dolphin and I saw a blue dolphin jumping in the waves. We enjoyed a meal at the Starfish.KathleenUnited States - 10Scored 10

We liked the peace and tranquility, glad we were in the quiet season, we don't fish but loved the beaches and our accommodation. Would like to have had something else to do as weather cold and wet, could the Multiplex show films?JanUnited Kingdom
