    The clerk was pleasant.

The clerk was pleasant. After that, everything went downhill. One pillow per Queen bed. One towel for 3 people. Peanut shells in dresser drawers, broken motel phone in night stand, broken TV with NO remote. The bathroom door was to close to the toilet. You had to raise the toilet seat to shut the bathroom door. Black mold creeping up the wall in the bathroom as well as on the bottom of the shower curtain. And something bit me while I was sleeping. I believe it was fleas because I didn't find any bed bugs. Room #218 needs to be cleaned and fully remodeled.

When we arrived, there was only one woman working the front desk with an extensive line to check-in. We had tickets to an event nearby but due to the check-in taking 30+ minutes, we were late to the event that brought us to town. I wish I'd opted to stay nearby the event as the cost of this hotel wasn't worth the accomodations. I'd also requested, as well as received an email approval a late checkout but then my room key was shut off at checkout time. I had to get my original key replaced as it wasn't opening the door and the inside latch was broken. The ice machine wasn't working on my floor as well as two other floors that I checked.

The front desk check in. She was amazing!

The front desk check in. She was amazing! So nice and personable. I called the day before with questons and she answered them all very politely. She Wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and made sure since we were coming in late, how to get in the locked doors. Also wished us a good evening on our plans we had scheduled.

The location was fantastic and the weather was awesome. We visited family and friends. By the way, Bridgeton, Mo is my hometown. The eating establishments are easily located and the food is truly delicious.

Still a lot of incredible amount of problems to clear up and it will take quite some time. I would recommend going to just about, not quite, any other airport rather the Lambert Field in St. Louis. Some work is in progress but noticeable length of time to fix a very bad problem. You can get lost and find yourself in real danger in a hurry if not familiar with the area.

The hotel was lovely and satisfied all of my needs..it was quiet and I got some much needed rest...I loved the room, it was very comfortable and I especially thought the microwave and fridge were a good touch....the staff were always accommodating every time I asked them to take pictures by the pool or on the grounds...the ladies at breakfast always suggested for me to try the gravy with biscuits since I never ate that before..overall, my stay was pleasant, I would highly recommend it as I would stay there again....

There were four walls, a roof, and a bed. It was technically indoors, and had running water and electricity. It did meet standard definitions of a hotel.
