I always love the desert so I always enjoy my trips to 29 Palms and Joshua Tree, especially at night time the desert looks amazing and the stars looks super bright and closed to earth. Great experience!

The rooms are run down, smelly and dirty at this Best Western Plus. We initially planned on staying 2 or 3 nights there but left after 1 night. Actually the same night we booked in I went down to the Fairfield hotel in 29 Palms and booked a room there for 3 nights as there hotel was clean and in great condition. Fairfield hotel had a warm pool too. It was disappointing to be at this Best Western Plus then have to move die to poor conditions.

The town was perfect for what we needed.
The town was perfect for what we needed. Hot meal and Starbucks! We stayed in a Yurt the night before...one word...amazing. Star gazing and just the experience was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the Yurt camp at Twentynine Palms.

The house was virtually in the park.
The house was virtually in the park. I did not go into town for anything except a quick grocery run. I was there to enjoy hiking in the park and so this location was not to be beat! The views of town at night were like a Christmas display.

Nice little offshoot city in the desert, which has everything, Starbucks and such, but was still under COVID rules that were annoying.
Lots of art and a visit to the Visitor Center in the main street is a must.
Prices are normal and the Sattler Bros grocery store was a pleasant surprise.

The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures. Curtain were half off the curtain rod, bathtub was moldy. Paint was pealing on the wall. Needed painting. Was like staying in a truck stop hotel. The breakfast was good and that was about all that was good. We’ll never go back. Was way over priced!
This was a very colourful and arty desert accommodation experience! I liked how each unit was it's own little 'house', and we had a porch to sit on and watch the sunrise in the morning. The AC was great, the bed was comfy and it was very cheap. Very close to Joshua Tree National Park. Happy guest.
The location was exceptional for Joshua Tree National Park. The accommodation was so well appointed with high quality decor and facilities. The communication with the host was excellent and the place was well stocked with information about the national park and other points of interest.
Hotel reception was very welcoming, they provide daily housekeeping. Most large chains do not. The room was immaculate. The room looks like a studio apartment, with full kitchen, spacious room and bathroom. Loved the bright colors on the walls. Overall great stay!
Rancho Deluxe was for us the perfect gateway to the Joshua Tree NP. The apartment is very quitely located, very nicely equipped and very spacious - for us we very much felt like at a second home. The views from Rancho were gorgeous.
Though no free breakfast offered, there was breakfast to be purchased & was excellent! Best water pressure of all the 5 hotels we stayed at on this trip! Centrally located for all our needs! Will definitely stay again!
The host gave us a warm welcome and provided a tour and history of Twentynine Palms. The room is very clean and comfy. Location is 20 mins drive from Joshua Tree NP. Nice place to relax and do star gazing.
Quiet, very eclectic lodging. Close to Joshua tree. Kitchen was fully equipped. Enjoyed all the reading material available and the fact that there was no tv. Very peaceful and enjoyable.
Very nice staff. Great bang for buck. Pool and hot tub were clean and working well. Very close to Joshua Tree park. 20 min drive to Yucca Kabob, a tasty place to get some solid dinner.
