South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit.
South lake Tahoe is a nice place to visit. I love the fresh air and the smell of the Sierras. The restaurants are okay, they try to make you think that they have all this amazing dining experiences, but they're just pretty much mediocre everywhere you go.

It's very difficult to figure out where to go to play in the snow & parking is a nightmare wherever you go. Traffic is bad. The casinos don't even try to entertain you or tease you. The slots just take your money without even stringing you along. The slots totally sucked, especially compared to Indian casinos & that includes all the casinos in South Lake, as well as North Lake.

Wow, haven't been to South Lake Tahoe in about 6-8 years and what a HUGE difference. It's become more commercialized and not as "homey" as it once felt. A lot of the older establishments are out of business with new stuff and construction taking over. The mom and pop restaurants we went to were pretty bad. It's gone down for charm, but up for convenience. Great groceries. Whole Foods, Safeway, Grocery Outlet... few bakeries, but we were shocked at the prices. $4.25 for a bear claw pastry! Still, it's beautiful and still worth the trip. Heavenly ski resort now requires reservations for parking on the weekends. They charge for cars with less than 3 people.

The location is great and close to stores and beach.
The location is great and close to stores and beach. They allowed pet in the area as well and the area is very quiet and safe. The only this we don’t like is no rug for the bathroom and the entrance door. They put a white towel instead. And the window or vinyl were dusty. Overall we love the place and we had a great stay. I would recommend this to family and friends.

I would strongly recommend not going there!
I would strongly recommend not going there! None of my requests were followed through on. Asked for ground floor unit as I am disabled. Ended up on third floor. When trying to get help with luggage checking in & checking out staff were not available. At checkout time they had a staff meeting and no one was at the desk. The heater didn't work and I froze the first night. Bedroom was upstairs and I cannot use stairs which I had told them. So I had to sleep on the couch. No one said there was a bear on the property so me and my service dog's safety was jeopardized! DO NOT GO THERE.

The Elet hotel exceeded our expectations! The room has a very modern feel and nice decor. The hotel and room were very clean, I would say spotless! The free snacks, water, and soda was such a nice feature! Above and beyond! When we arrived there was a cinch backpack on the bed and 2 pairs of sunglasses and a small sunscreen! It was such a nice surprise! The location is great too! A very close walk to the Heavenly gondola, shopping, restaurants, and casinos. We would definitely stay here again!
We really loved the decor and all the neat amenities. Breakfast was very reasonable and yummy and we loved the s’mores hour in the evening. Also we could walk right to the main part of downtown which was nice. The best part was the bedding. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel with more comfortable and cozy bedding. We were on a quick getaway taking a break from our busy jobs and we loved just laying in the bed and vegging out it was so comfy!
Nicely positioned affordable motel right off the central main street in South Lake Tahoe. Trenton the manager gave us a great couple of recommendations for dinner which were only a short walk away. Plenty of parking. Great bagels and plenty of coffee in the morning for breakfast, but fruit hadn't been delivered that day. We were invited to leave our car parked after checkout while we explored the town
The jacuzzi was amazing MacDuff's pub right next door was the best food and drinks ever and it was right across the street from the lake which was covered in snow and beautiful we ubered to the casinos for $12 what a deal we had such a great weekend would recommend this hotel to anybody
Check-in and out were fast. Excellent location for people who want to explore South Lake Tahoe and hit the powder slopes. The hotel also provided discounts for one of the most popular pub restaurants nearby, which was definitely a plus. Our room was clean when checking in.
This was a nicely renovated hotel right near Heavenly Ski Resort and the action downtown. It was very comfortable and beautifully updated. It was also well-supplied - multiple towels, etc. Best of all, it was so well-priced; super affordable.
The property was easy to find and had a great vibe as soon as we pulled up, with live music and people eating and drinking in the courtyard. It was a great location for going around South Lake Tahoe, and had really good facilities to hand.
Great location to walk to the main street with restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc. We had our large german shepherd with us. It was $25 for a pet and well worth it. Many areas all around the neighborhood to walk the dog.
It’s a great property. The free s’mores each night are a great touch. The receptionist/ barman Chris was awesome, really friendly and approachable. The rooms are the best, heated toilet seats are next level hotel-ing!
The protest was within walking distance to downtown but far enough away for it to be quite. The breakfast is one of the best we have had at a hotel in a long time without having to pay for it.
Nice hotel really good location!!!
The stuff are really nice people!!
I left the car keys inside my locked car and they help me a lot with that !!!
Thank you 🙏🏽 I recommend it
Breakfast ok. The location was perfect in South Lake Tahoe. Many of the places can be walked from this location. Lady in the front desk is very nice was great experience.
Arrived and the reception was great and made us feel welcome. The room was very clean and situated very well for South Lake Tahoe dining, shopping and many live music bars
Best location! Everyone in a room can see and enjoy a beautiful view! We went outside and enjoyed a firepit on the grass in front of a hotel while seeing a lakeview.
Property is close to Heavenly village and walking distance to Nevada casinos. staff was very friendly and helpful. Property is pet friendly and accommodating.
