Just a small town,very peaceful. Waterberg zipline was not far and we enjoyed it. The town is also close to Belabela for other activities. It was difficult to find places to groove when i searched on internet. We were physically looking for places to enjoy Saturday night and we bumped in to Bela bela lodge. We loved the house, the garden view, the game drive was our highlight and the staff is amazing 🤩 We took more million photos my kids loved the swimming pool, We were supposed to go to the jacuzzi but something was wrong with it, hopefully next time we will get a chance to go in. Good location, just two and a half hours out of JHB with lots to do in the surrounding area. Anything from mountain biking, bird watching , game drives, fine dining or just relaxing next to the pool with a good book and a cold one.

I like that it's a private and quiet place surrounded by nature. It's a good and relaxing place. My favorite place was at the pool side. We enjoyed food at their restaurant and drinks at the bar was affordable.

Our room was very spacious and well equipped. Nice little veranda. The owner was very nice - excellent service. We were allowed to use the barbecue, where we prepared our meal over open fire. A very romantic experience to sit at the veranda and enjoy the african evening. This place is highly recommendable. We will definitely come back next time.
