Our experience is positive and we are satisfied. We stayed for a night before catching a flight, it is really close to the airport, less then 10 mins by car, we had free parking in front of the hotel.
Receptionist was very nice and welcomed us even at 10pm, room was clean, spacious, pillow were huge and comfortable, so you can sleep well before continuing your trip.
We asked for a breakfast box since we were leaving early in the morning and it was already waiting for us in a room fridge, so thank you for everything!

I only stayed for one night as a layover, and didn't actually see anything of the town. If you are looking for a place to stay during a trip to Budapest this is not the place, it is to far. However, if you are looking for a cheap option for a layover after arriving to the airport, Gyál has some priceworthy hostels and B&B's. Just remember that the easiest way to get there is by taxi.
