Best beds during my stay in Vietnam!
Fantastic view on the fields! They provide help with activities and a taxi for example. Free bike rental. And they offer massages! For me perfect location and good price if i comper this to the other luxerious stays around. And still a nice place to have a good rest. Bc i felt sick last day they helped me with bringing breakfast and drinks in the room itself.

The hotel is located in a small village about 20 kilometres from Mai Chau, which is why we booked it. We wanted to stay in a quiet and remote area and we really liked it. We cycled to Mai Chau one day; scenic landscape, simply fantastic. The bungalows are very nice, food was very good and eveyone super friendly. We had great fun with the three dogs, who are absolutely adorable.

Loved the seclusion and the pool was massive, clean and staff very friendly. Not overpriced. Best Vietnamese salads we’ve had all trip, both the chicken and beef salads were fabulous. Short bike ride up behind the property to the local village was super interesting (bit touristy but still great).

I highly recommend! This place is lovely, just like Mai Chau itself. The entire staff, including the owner, take care of you and make sure you have everything you need. You can rent bikes and the owner will give you recommendations on what to visit. The room was very clean, I really appreciate it <3 And what a view from the balcony!!!! The breakfast is very tasty.

The woman managing the property is lovely: friendly, warm, tries her best to communicate in English with me for which I am grateful for, and also manages her restaurant, which seems very popular! It is very good value for money, the room was sufficiently spacious for one or two. The location is good in that it faces a beautiful wide valley of Mai Chau fringed with mountains. I was there for VUM race and it was less than 10 mins easy amble to race village. There were countless free bicycles provided by the guesthouse (decent bikes too) to pedal around the valley. I also arranged late for a private transport to Hanoi and the husband of the owner of property arranged to drive us himself in his comfortable car. All good. The restaurant they manage— part of the accommodation — serves delicious food. Simple fried rice is top notch, as are the shakes and smoothies. I love the little raised platform over the padi fields where one could sit out and enjoy the view and atmosphere. Room is ok, with AC!! Kettle good for tea at night.

The breakfast was okay as it was included on the price of the stay. The view was pretty spectacular on the rare occasion we saw it (we only saw it 1 afternoon out of 3 days we stayed, it was foggy most days to the point you couldn't see anything).
We had a nice walking tour with Kay, he was knowledgeable and welcoming and also assisted us with organising a day tour/transport to Mai Chau.

We stayed in Ban Lac, it was great for accomodation, food, shoping and as a departure point for bike rides and trips. Very charming and quiet place, surrounded by rice fields and a bit further from the bigger road (still easy to get there). It was our favourite place in Vietnam.

It was really lovely.
It was really lovely. Calm without being too quiet, with lots of nice roads to walk and look out over the rice fields and gardens. Just enough food/beer vendors spread about to be good :)
Lots of dogs about, and the smell of burning plastic was a pitty.

This area is incredibly beautiful - rice paddies all around as well as much other vegetation and farming. Beautiful wild nature in the mountains. The people are very kind and the local cuisine is delicious. Visiting by scooter or motorcycle would be best as the sights are spread out and it would be a little difficult to visit. You could also do it by car but that would be less fun!

After checking out La Maison de Buoc, I returned to Hanoi and had a flight back to Australia. If I knew that the trip would be so beautiful and memorable, I would stay longer.
Mai Chau this season is very beautiful, even though there are no longer rice fields. People have harvested all the rice since mid-November. But it's okay, I visited Pu waterfall, Mai Hich stream, Thai ethnic villages, climbed Red Rock and Kiapaco Cave.
It can be said that my trip was too short, I wish I could stay longer.

I like solo traveling so the trip to Mai Chau was what I needed after a long time working. It was and is a quiet, peaceful place, not many things to do, but a lot of things to see. I'm glad I came here on a motorcycle so I can go around and see many thing. For example cloud hunting( or cloud sightseeing, waterfalls, rice field under the shade of mountains as the sun coming down. I hope booking.com adds video feature since I record most of my video
The room was well managed and clean. The cafeteria where everyone could gather had a great view and comfortable seats to sit around. The host were very kind too. It was a very cost-effective homestay and I would have chose the same place even if I were to come again! The hosts give you a guide to what you can enjoy when you check-in along with refreshing welcome drinks. Dinner and drinks were delicious and the costs were reasonable too. Highly recommend the place if you’re planning to come to Mai chau!
The level of hospitality of Hue and her family is out of this world! They made us feel at home and part of their family. It is located in the valley with lots of hikes and nature things to see around. The view from the hostel is stunning and its location definitely helps you disconnect. That being said, the hostel is close to Lac Village, which is an absolute must to visit for its fabrics and food. Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely go back next time we're in Vietnam
Only good thing to share, really love this sweet homestay in Mai chau village.
Room rate consider cheap compare with other homestay near by and some more room rate include delicious breakfast.

Well located in town and with balconies overlooking the rice paddies. Rooms were quiet, well appointed, spacious and perfectly clean. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were outstanding- informative, thoughtful and a pleasure to chat with. They readily organised transport to Hanoi, motorbike rental and excellent info on where to go and what to do. Thank you Duong, Thai and others. We would highly recommend Mai Chau Valley View Hotel.
Mr. Truong and his family were amazing! This was my best homestay in whole Vietnam! They were super attentive, helpful, kind, and polite. Location is dreamy and the whole surrounding so relaxed, green and beautiful. The views are out of this world! Special dedication goes to their home made food! So delicioussss, I was feeling like home! Do yourself a favor and book their gorgeous homestay! Thank you for everything Mr. Truong!:)
Waking up to the view every morning is just spectacular! The staff were attentive to our every need. Beds were super comfortable, I thought food prices were fair and every meal was delicious. The hotel was able to get me a motorbike and we drove 40 miles over 3 days visiting around the resort, roads were easy and the local folks were wonderful! The pool was the perfect temp and has the same incredible views!

Lim upon arrival was very helpful in answering a few questions we had. We asked about getting help with securing a ride back to Hanoi and she had contacts she reached out too. She was also able to get us motorcycle to rent from someone she knows for very cheap. Her meals (dinner and breakfast) were great.
Vinh is a wonderful and incredibly friendly host who recommended great places to eat and explore, and helped us arrange transportation for our next destination (Ninh Binh). Without a doubt, Hakuna Matata is a fantastic place to enjoy a few days of relaxation in Mai Châu.
the hotel had a great location. the rooms were large and clean, beautifully decorated. we loved the cow from out balcony. breakfast was delicious. the staff and owner (Doung) were super helpful with directions to hikes and transportation anywhere. we loved our stay!
The breakfast was delicious and the best part was that we could rent bicycles anytime without a reservation. Cycling around the hotel was a great experience!

Great room with a balcony overlooking the rice fields. The food and staff were great. They picked me up and organized a great cycling tour for me. I loved Mai Chau and the hotel was great. Would definitely stay there again!
It was a very nice surprise with evening dance show and late check out.
Breakfast was nice and mix of Vietnamese and continental.
Family villa was really nice and excellent with 2 floors.
Beautiful and quiet location, with a stunning infinity pool. Rooms and area feels almost like a fancy resort in Thailand, and the beds are very comfortable for Vietnamese standards.
One of the most gorgeous hidden property and area in Vietnam, still very untouched by tourists!
Gorgeous villas, amazing pool view, great service
