Beautiful garden!
Beautiful garden! A small paradise in the Mekong delta.. very interesting 6 hour boat tour organised by the owner and his family to give a better understanding in the region. Free bicycles and map of the region to explore ben tre area on your own if you like or go to the ben tre market. Very welcoming atmosphere.

This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals...
This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. One of the most enjoyable trips we've had and the best of this 2-week vacation!

If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better...
If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in Vietnam

Ben Tre/My Tho are nice if you are interested in discovering the different islands around: they all have their own speciality: honey, coconut, etc. The boat tour is lovely especially if you decide to go for a private one. The city has a beautiful pagoda that is worth visiting.

We were only at the homestay and on a boattrip one afternoon. Did’nt go to the city of Ben Tre. A couple of hours on a bicykletrip would definetly have been interresting, but with three kids, we found it too difficult.

I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay.
I had such a lovely time at Ben Tre Stay. The family let me borrow a bike, showed me where to cycle to in the area, arranged a boat trip on the river, arranged a bus ticket for my next destination. Everything was excellent and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone who wants to stay with an amazing family. Thank you for having me!

Thus, you can experience both city and rural life styles easily. Access from Ho Chi Minh City is a piece of cake if you use FUTA bus. The company offers a free shuttle bus service to this property from the Ben Tre bus station. Area around this property was very good for a bicycle ride. Luckily, there were many bicycles available and they were free. During my stay, I went to so many places by bicycle and met many local people. It was every wonderful.

The beautiful location just along the Mekong River, food and staffers...all were incredibly fantastic far beyond my expectation. Operated by Mr. Thai and his family and good friends, this inn produces such comfortable atmoshere, just like Mr. Thai says "My home is your home, too". Mr. Thai's food is magically tasty and unbelievabley cheap! Even my 2 children who usually try to avoid Vietnamese food devoured all the food in happy excitement. The family are delightful, professional and helpful. The food has great variety (even for vegetarians) and is superb. The location is rural enough to feel far from the city, but close enough to Ben Tre town to visit. Bicycles are available for free, and are an easy way to explore the labyrinth of canals and coconut plantations. Very, very nice.
