Portland is a walkable city.
Portland is a walkable city. Too many wonderful restaurants for one trip! My favorites from this trip: Fore Street Restaurant, Honey Paw, and Jing Yan. My husband loved Bar Futo and the bar at Via Vecchia.

We live in Massachusetts, but we love visiting Maine. We usually stop at the Kittery Trading Post along our drive. In Portland we like to take in historical homes and sites like the Victorian Mansion or the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow home. There are lots of restaurants and pubs in the waterfront area. Best seafood ever.
Best seafood ever. Very nice restaurants and bars and excellent, friendly service in all places. Nice little interior or similar shops. Some more or less interesting galleries, interesting Arts Museum. But two full days are enough for visiting downtown Portland. Lovely hiking trails at about 30 minutes from the town.

The apartment was just as described and as you see it in the pictures. It is comfortable. It's in a GREAT location for downtown Portland. Convenient to some excellent bars, restaurants and cool stores and very close to the Regency Hotel which has an excellent spa and the waterfront. The interior is cool and funky and the appliances are top notch. The beds are comfortable and the living room is perfect for hanging after a long day of dining and touring.
