Dromineer is a village on the shores of Lough Derg, the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland in north County Tipperary. Dromineer is famous for its sailing tradition, and was a major stopping-point on the historically-important Limerick-Dublin waterway route. It is home to the third oldest yacht club in the world, Lough Derg Yacht Club (LDYC).
