All nationalities require a visa to visit Burundi except citizens of Uganda.
A visa costs US$80 on arrival at the airport or can be obtained from embassies prior to travel.
A one-month visa from the Burundian embassy in Kampala costs 90$ (Update: in March 2010 it was 40$. An invitation letter was required but this requirement was dropped after a bit of arguing).
A visa on arrival at the border is $40 but is only valid for three days!
