The Hotel D'Argouges provides 3 star accommodation, and the staff were very helpful. A family photo Christmas card from travel guru Rick Steves and his brood was on prominent display during our visit in Summer 2007, so he must have enjoyed his visit at some point as well! Staff were happy to keep our luggage in a locked room outside after checkout while we toured the region for the day - this alone was such a convenience. Included french-style breakfast (coffee/tea/hot chocolate, baguette, croissant, yogurt, cheese, etc) was assembled to order and brought to my table by cheery staff when I arrived in the morning -- no muffins in a basket here. I think the kitchen staff could make American-style breakfast (eg bacon + eggs, etc) if you wished, but for a fee above the included breakfast. Hotel is located maybe a ten minute walk from the train station, and is located on the winding main cobblestone street. Rooms were very clean, excellent value for the money, and would recommend highly.
