Casa Del Re In Calitri, the entire village is working towards opening its doors to visitors. Approximately thirty Medieval Homes have been restored and now are being offered to rent on a weekly and monthly basis. All Medieval houses share a closed similarity in their interior design and décor particularly in their facade due to belonging to the Borgo (district), where houses are built next to each other and in some cases in second floors – a main characteristic of Italian architecture in Medieval times. All of the properties have been recently renovated to ensure a pleasant and worry-free stay, but they have been carefully kept their distinctive look of the time in which they were built. The architectural design has been carefully preserved.
Palazzo Zampaglione. Bed and breakfast in the medieval part of the village of Calitri. It is a three-story building of historical importance. The ground floor of the palazzo dates back as far as the end of the 15th century and is characterized by vaulted-ceiling cellars. Many internal sections of the palazzo are strengthened in wood, on which carved and painted heraldic decorations can be seen on display. The palazzo has been completely restructured with a view to maintaining all the characteristics any, but they have been carefully kept their distinctive look of the time in which they were built. The architectural design has been carefully preserved. �
