Rosyth station is served by twice-hourly trains on the Fife Circle line out of Edinburgh. The journey takes around 25 minutes. Be aware that the train station is just over a mile from the ferry terminal. Ferry passengers are better advised to use Inverkeithing station (the stop before Rosyth if travelling from Edinburgh, four trains an hour) from where Fife Council operates a free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal.
