Eindhoven Airport, located just 5 kilometers outside the city, has some international destinations. There are flights with Air France (CityJet) airline to London City; Ryanair serves Alghero, Alicante, Brindisi, Dublin, Faro, Gdansk, Girona, London-Stansted, Madrid, Màlaga, Malta, Marseille, Milan-Orio al Serio, Oslo-Rygge, Pescara, Pisa, Porto, Reus, Rome-Ciampino, Stockholm-Skavsta, Trapani. Wizzair serves Belgrade, Budapest, Sofia, Katowice, Brno, Praha, Wroclaw, Warsaw and Gdansk. Transavia serves Alicante, Antalya, Bodrum, Corfu, Dalaman, Faro, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Rhodes. There is an airport shuttle between the trainstation and airport. Tickets can be bought at the airport bus stand. Alternately, bus 401 runs directly from the airport to Eindhoven's main train and bus station in the city center every 10 minutes.
Alternatively, Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam is a 90 minute ride by train, with a direct connection between the airport and Eindhoven central station.
If you are going to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport from Eindhoven Airport there are two options:
AirExpressBuses costs €20 and leaves approximately four times per day on weekdays (not in sync with flights, note that it does not leave on Sundays).
Take regional bus 401 to Eindhoven station (takes ~20 mins), and take the intercity train to Amsterdam from there. The bus leaves every half hour on weekends, and more often on weekdays (See Hermes for timetable).
