Skovorodino is connected by the Trans-Siberian Railway.
It is also connected by a branch line north to Tynda on the Baikal-Amur Magistral Railway (BAM). It is also the proposed terminus for the first phase of the East Siberia Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline, currently under construction by Transneft.
