By Train:
The closest railway station is the Udupi railway station which is 3 km away. It is one of the major stations in the konkan railway track and is connected to most of the major South Indian cities, including Mumbai.
By bus:
Buses ply from Bangalore and Mangalore directly to Tiger Circle at the very heart of Manipal. Apart from this most of the South Indian cities and Mumbai are connected to Udupi which is about 5 km from Manipal.
