The dam wall can be visited, Escom hydro electric plant can be visited. There are wonderful sites from which to view the lake. There are great places from which to take photos.Bird watching, hiking and game drives in the Rolfontein game reserve. Bowling, cycling, skiing, rock climbing, abseiling and bridge swinging can all be done here. The dam stretches 100km up stream so boating,kayaking, angling and camping on the shores of the lake are a perfect way to spend out gorgeous days and nights.
