Washington Crossing Historic Park is a 500-acre park divided into two sections: the Thompson's Mill section and the Washington Crossing section. This is not only a great way to experience nature and wander in the wilderness for awhile, but it also has many places of great historic importance and beauty. The Bowman's Hill tower, a tower built in commemoration of General Washington and his army. The tower stands over thirty stories tall and is a sight to behold from the ground! From the top of the tower, on a clear day, you can see fourteen miles into the distance. The landscape is simply stunning - especially during fall during the change of seasons.
