Riverside Hotel - Formerly "The Afro-American Hospital," the Riverside Hotel in Clarksdale was the site of the dedication of the fourth historic marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail. It is where Bessie Smith died after her auto accident on Highway 61 on September 26, 1937.
