Colts Neck is a scenic suburban town in Monmouth county New Jersey that was founded in 1676. It is a small town with a rich history. Colts Neck was the location of The North American Phalanx, one of the two major early American attempts at Utopianism. Although the Phalanx was destroyed by a fire in 1854, Phalanx Road, one of the major roads which runs through Colts Neck, stands in its place.
Today, Colts Neck encompasses 31.7 square miles and is home to around 12,000 citizens . Full of residential areas, Horse Farms and Golf Courses, Colts Neck provides beautiful, rural scenery all year round.
