  • McManus Galleries The Galleries house a museum and art gallery with a collection of fine and decorative art as well as a natural history collection. The museum re-opened February 2010
  • The Howff An ancient cemetary in the heart of Dundee, it was used as a burial ground for the people of the city for centuries until the sepulchre was discontinued in the 19th century. There are many interesting gravestones to be seen, some dating as far back as 1603

  • Mills Observatory . A "public" astronomical observatory, with free entry; its dome is made of papier-mâché, oddly enough.
