Portsmouth offers a variety of Indian restaurants thanks to its prominent Asian community. The best places are Albert road where the curry are cheap as there is a restaurant literally every couple of shop, Palmerston road, where you pay for quality so take your pick.

The Indian Ocean Takeaway, 234 Fratton Road, 023 9282 4720. Probably the longest serving curry outlet in Portsmouth, established in the early 1980's by the current owner/Chef Mr Uddin. The quality of the food is of the highest quality and their curries are also priced very reasonably.
