Even though it has been open for years, it still manages to stay up to date in terms of equipment and cleanliness.This gym Offers personal training and a variety of classes, such as aerobics, spin and step.
Extreme Gym- A newer gym in Merrick. This one opened recently, but is considered as good as Energex. Although it is smaller and less expensive, it is in no way a lesser gym. Open 7 days; morning, noon and night hours.
Synergy- Located on Merrick Avenue, walking distance from the railroad. This is a huge facility with countless machines including but not limited to ellipticals and treadmills. Classes available here too.
