Typical rates for newer models are 1200-2000 baht per day. Expect a slight discount when renting weekly. Utility pickups such as Toyata Hilux and Fortuner are also available. Many places offer minivans such as 10-seater Toyota Commuter with driver from about 2000 baht per day plus fuel. Older Suzuki Caribean 4WD jeeps are a cheaper option at around 600-800 baht per day but they are relatively difficult to drive and less mechanically reliable than a standard passenger car.
