Cordoba (city, Argentina) by plane

Cordoba (city, Argentina) by plane

The International Airport Ingeniero Talavella, also called Pajas Blancas is 10 km (6 mi) north of the city center. There are flights to several towns in Argentina, to Lima, Santiago de Chile, Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), Porto Alegre (Brazil), and even Madrid, though now there are fewer flights than in the 90s because of the economic crisis. Anyway , if you come from overseas you may change in Buenos Aires or Santiago de Chile. If you fly through Buenos Aires you will likely need to transfer from Ezeiza airport to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (shuttle bus service relatively expensive, more than half the price of a taxi!). (Note) Iberia fly direct from Madrid as of October 2010. From the Córdoba airport there is a normal bus to city center (A5, 2,50 AR$), a minibus service (about AR$ 25 per person) and taxis(about AR$90).
