There are no real tourist attractions in the town central. There are some gardens in the town central that would be nice enough for a picnic. The Boolboonda Tunnel in a little way out of town towards Mount Perry (off the highway). It is the longest unsupported tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere, at around 200 metres long. The tunnel was dug for the railway, but now a road goes through the tunnel, and you can drive through.
