The village is located in the Amansuri wetland and accessible to the public only by dugout canoe from the town of Benyin. , on the coast about 40 kilometres east of the Ivorian border. and 90km west of Takoradi.
Tickets must be bought from the office which is clearly signed at the end of the long dirt road. Life preservers are provided but parents may consider it wise to take their own for small children.
