Salinas is located 124 km from Guayaquil. To get in, you have to take Via a la Costa road. There are some transportation companies that can take you there like Liberpesa, CLP and Costa Azul. Besides these companies there are other companies that offer the same service for a little bit more of a price, but they take you on a private car and with a maximun of 4 people in it, so this is another option for the people that don't have their own car, and want to have a very comfortbale trip to Salinas.
You can get to Salinas by car, and by plane. Salinas has an airport that is located at the Base of the airforce. That being said, heading directly to Salinas by plane is not too usual due to the fact that most people take a car from Guayaquil (because they're very close).
