This temple is considred the foremost temple of lord vishnu (Bhooloka Vaikundam)for Vaishnavites. Very big temple having tallest Temple tower ( Raja gopuram).Many interesting things are there try to Explore and understand. Jambukeshwara Temple, (7 km from Trichy Junction and less than 1 km from Sri Ranganathaswamy temple). This is a famous Shiva temple and One of the five Pancha bootha kshetras (five elements namely water, earth, air, fire and ether). This one is appu sthala (representing water).free entrance. �
