Zhaoxing (肇興) is a pretty Dong minority town nestling in a valley a long way away from anywhere. It's full of old wooden buildings, wind and rain bridges, and drum towers, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It's had a bit of the government sponsored "Chinese Minority Village" makeover, but is nowhere near as reconstructed as the other towns in the vicinity.
They're also building a motorway which passes by on top of the hill above the town. From the look of the new roads being built there'll be a new exit for Zhaoxing. Good news for your journey time, but bad news for the hordes who will arrive with you. Go there now!
