Crown St Mall, is the centrepiece of Wollongong shopping. It is a pedestrian mall, partly shaded, with the main department stores, cafes and speciality stores lining both sides. There is a stage in the centre, with local talent (schools and dance groups) often performing on weekends.
Westfield Shopping Mall, is located at Warrawong, with a smaller one at Figtree, just south of the city off the Princes Highway. The usual obligatory and formulaic chain stores, food halls, and supermarket shopping, with cinemas at Warrawong. There is also a small shopping mall at Corrimal to the north, and shopping strips in most of the northern beachside suburbs along the Princes Highway.
