Fast bullet trains connect Xiamen North to Fuzhou (�85, 100 minutes) and beyond Fuzhou toward Hangzhou and Shanghai. A fast train line South to Shenzhen is under construction, but as of June 2011, not yet in service. There is also regular train service, cheaper but slow since the railroads travel a circuitous route through mountains; a bus is usually a better choice.
