Run by a traveler, Campo Base just moved to this new location, 10 minutes form the center and only 5 minutes from the bus station. Campo Base offers private rooms ensuite and with shared bathroom. Also very confortable shared dormitories with lockers, reading lights and plugs in every bed. We have a friendly and knowledgeable staff, willing to help you to organize your time in San Pedro and have a great experience. The staff will give you honest advice and can make reservation of excursions and tours for you. You will enjoy our terrace and common area with satellite TV (all the sport channels), and a well equipped kitchen, available to use anytime. In addition, the cheapest minimarket in town is located a few steps away. Please note the following advice provided by the owners to reach the property: From the Bus Station walk out to Tumiza Street (only one way out) and turn right up to Laskar St. From the corner turn right and walk two blocks through Laskar Street up to Pachamama Street. From here walk up to your right again and you’ll find us in front of a playground. LOCAL TAX LAW. Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19% To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
