About Hotel Gasthof Post
Family-run for 80 years, Hotel Gasthof Post is situated in the centre of Elbigenalp in the Lech Valley. The restaurant has a terrace and serves Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialities. In the 19th century, the Post Hotel was owned by Queen Marie of Bavaria, mother of King Ludwig II. The dining room and 3 of the bedrooms still date back to this period. The individually furnished, Alpine-style rooms feature a flat-screen satellite TV, a safe, and a bathroom. Some have a balcony. Please note that the road from Lech to Warth is closed in winter. Access to Warth is only possible via Reutte (B198 road) or via the Bregenzer Wald forest (B200 road).
